The board voted unanimously to reduce the bond from $495,000 to $45,000, reflecting remaining construction work estimated by Graves Engineering and leaving roughly a 20 percent contingency. Members also endorsed an approval-not-required plan for 79 and 81 Walnut Street, creating a new residential lot that carries a Zoning Board of Appeals variance for lot area, the parcel holds approximately 36,000 square feet against a 44,000-square-foot requirement.
