NORTH ATTLEBORO — Planning Board continued the Nessfab industrial hearing to October 15 following community concerns. Professional Engineer Bob Sykes reported that Pare Corporation found zoning, subdivision, and stormwater compliance concerns largely resolved, though Town Planner Gil Hilario noted a hazardous materials list was provided for public review. Applicant Lemoy Titus described Nessfab as a passive manufacturing company that shapes stainless steel and addressed questions about noise, dust, and hours of operation, noting peak season runs May through September with occasional Saturday operation.
Public comment raised concerns about potential effects on Bungay Lake, noise, odors, vibrations, and property impacts. Chair Jason Gittle said he would walk the property with a resident to assess buffering needs.
