Compost facility to close for Thanksgiving, season ending Dec. 13
The North Attleborough Department of Public Works says the town's Compost Facility will be closed Nov. 27 for Thanksgiving and will end its 2026 season Dec. 13, weather permitting.
The North Attleborough Department of Public Works announced Nov. 2 upcoming schedule changes at the town's Compost Facility as the 2026 season winds down.
The facility will be closed Friday, Nov. 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday. It will reopen for regular operations on Saturday, Nov. 28, and Sunday, Nov. 29.
Sunday, Dec. 13, is set as the final scheduled day of the 2026 season, weather permitting. The DPW cautioned that the facility may close earlier if snowfall occurs before that date and encouraged residents to plan accordingly and stay informed of any weather-related schedule changes.
