Zoning Board hears subdivision variance request, approves three setback variances.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Zoning Board of Appeals approves three setback variances at April 16 hearing. Vice Chair Landis Hershey led the board in approving a front yard setback variance for William Cooke's deck at 543 North Washington Street, a side yard setback variance for Steven Russ's preexisting pool at 174 Mount Hope Street, and a sign variance for a consignment store at 411 North Washington Street with illumination restricted to 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. The board continued Hipolito Aguilera's application for lot width and depth variances for a seven-lot subdivision at 110 Cumberland Avenue to May 28, pending clarification from the Building Department on measurement methodology.

The board also approved a six-month extension for a prior variance at 42 Oakhurst Street and approved the landscaping bond for the 150 Draper Avenue development.
