Zoning Board approves pole sign variance for North Washington Street property

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Zoning Board of Appeals grants pole sign variance for North Washington Street. The board unanimously approved a 15-foot internally illuminated pole sign for 387 North Washington Street in the C 7.5 district, with the condition that it be located at the midpoint of the Route One frontage and conform to setback requirements. Architect Stephen R.
Nelson presented the application on behalf of Stanek Construction Inc., noting the sign would match similar signage in the area and pose no sight-line impacts. An abutter did not oppose the application. The board also unanimously continued the public hearing for Stacey Poole at 41 Stoddard Drive to February 12, 2026.
