NORTH ATTLEBORO — Town Council Finance Sub-Committee advances $50,000 legal services transfer. Measure 2026-045 authorizes the reserve fund allocation to address mounting legal expenses, with Brady vs. Town litigation comprising $45,570 of the costs; Town Manager Michael Borg reported Brady currently owes the Town $65,000 and the town pursues additional damages.
The sub-committee voted 4-0 to refer the measure to the full Town Council with a positive recommendation.
