Planning Board · Meeting of March 19, 2026

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Planning Board approves mixed-use building and bank conversion in unanimous votes. Chair Jason Gittle oversaw approval of a Level 2 Site Plan Review for a four-story mixed-use building at 847 East Washington Street containing one commercial space and seven apartments, with a waiver granted from the thirty-five-foot vegetated buffer requirement. The board unanimously approved a major site plan modification to convert the former TGI Friday's restaurant at 1385 South Washington Street into a Bank of America branch with dual drive-through lanes, which will employ seven staff and operate reduced hours Monday through Saturday.

The board continued public hearings on the New North Attleborough High School Level 3 site plan and the Imperial Gas Station with Country Store to April 9, 2026, for further traffic and engineering review.
