North Attleborough to Hold Two Sept. 11 Remembrance Ceremonies

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — The Town of North Attleborough announced Tuesday it will hold two ceremonies on Friday, Sept. 11, marking the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and inviting local officials, students, first responders and veterans to take part.

The town's News Flash said the ceremonies will bring together community members with local officials, students, first responders and veterans to mark the quarter-century milestone. The announcement did not specify locations or start times for the two events.

COMING UP

Several town boards meet in the coming week. The Board of Election Commissioners and the Planning Board both hold public meetings Thursday, Sept. 3. The Board of Health holds a hybrid public meeting Tuesday, Sept. 8, followed by the School Committee on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and the Curriculum Policy Subcommittee on Thursday, Sept. 10. North Attleborough's two Sept. 11 remembrance ceremonies take place Friday, Sept. 11.
