North Attleborough Orders Stage 2 Outdoor Water Restrictions

North Attleborough has moved to a Stage 2 water restriction, barring all non-essential outdoor water use townwide, the town announced this week.

TOWN HALL

The Town of North Attleborough has implemented a Stage 2 Water Restriction, prohibiting all non-essential outdoor water use, according to a town announcement posted to the municipal website. The town did not specify in the announcement what triggered the higher restriction level or how long it will remain in place.

Separately, the statewide ban on kratom sales that the North Attleborough Health Department flagged for residents and retailers earlier this week took effect Friday, Aug. 28, under an emergency order from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The Health Department had advised local retailers to clear the products from shelves ahead of the deadline.
