Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 14, 2026
NORTH ATTLEBORO — Conservation Commission approves dwelling and pool deck in water-body buffer zones. The North Attleborough Conservation Commission unanimously approved a new single-family dwelling at 657 Broadway Extension for Steve and Helen Hebert within the 100-foot buffer zone adjacent to Whiting's Pond, with conditions requiring upgraded erosion controls, native plantings, and Conservation staff inspections. The commission separately issued a Negative 3 Determination of Applicability for a 12-foot by 24-foot pool deck at 510 Oak Ridge Avenue on a 4-1 vote, with protective conditions for Bungay Lake's buffer zone.
One member opposed the determination citing slope sensitivity. The commission also continued a Notice of Intent for 563 South Washington Street to April 28.
