North Attleborough approves high school with wetland conditions
Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 31, 2026
North Attleborough Conservation Commission unanimously approves high school project. The Commission voted 4-0 on March 31 to issue an Order of Conditions for the new North Attleborough High School at 1 Wilson West Whitty Way, built on existing rear grass fields. Chair Kimberly Ciaramicoli and the Commission imposed four special conditions requiring confirmation of flagged wetland resources, revision of wetland flags per peer review, ongoing stormwater infrastructure maintenance in perpetuity, and confirmatory test pits before construction to verify groundwater separation.
The conditions follow a March 24 peer review letter from Weston & Sampson and address concerns about intermittent streams and existing stormwater systems.
