Historical Commission approves January minutes, plans 250th celebration events

Historical Commission · Meeting of March 3, 2026

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Historical Commission approves January minutes amid town celebration planning. The board unanimously backed prior meeting minutes and heard that $19,271 allocated for Mann Burial Ground repairs on Draper Avenue faces reallocation if the Commission does not develop plans quickly; Chair Rick Miller will oversee installation of signs for the 250th anniversary celebration, with a Washington/Rochambeau dedication tentatively set for April 19 in front of Town Hall. The Commission also discussed Holmes Hall sign installation, light pole relocation, and coordinating Powder House ceremonies with the Attleboro Historical Commission and Sons of the Revolution.
