NORTH ATTLEBORO — Finance Sub-Committee completes FY27 budget review extending past three hours. Chair John Simmons, Town Manager Michael Borg, and Assistant Town Manager Antonio Morabito presented departmental requests including fire station roof feasibility, school bus and chromebook purchases, High Street Field completion, and $400,000 in WWI Park repaving bonding. Parks Director Steve Carvalho noted a single family's $2 million in park donations over two decades cannot be expected to continue, requiring increased town maintenance budgeting.
The sub-committee voted 7-0 to extend the meeting to complete review of remaining capital improvement slides.
