North Attleborough Finance Sub-Committee backs $50,000 for the town's 250th celebration. Subcommittee Chair John Simmons and members Laura Wagner, John Costello, and John Donohue unanimously voted 4-0 to recommend Measure 2026-066 to the full Town Council. Town Manager Michael Borg detailed the initiative, scheduled for July 4-19, which will fund a new banner, fireworks, bands, and related programming.

The appropriation reduces the town's free cash balance to $850,000. Borg confirmed fireworks will be held at the school bus parking lot due to high school construction, and stated no additional funding requests are anticipated for the celebration.
