Finance Sub-Committee approves MFA software purchase authorization.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Town Council Finance Sub-Committee unanimously endorses software security upgrade. The committee backed Measure 2026-048, recommending authorization to repurpose $33,611.88 from the completed Town-Wide Technology Plan Account to purchase Multi-Factor Authentication Software, with a remaining account balance of $34,427.58. Town Manager Michael Borg confirmed the purchase meets Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B requirements.
IT Director Amy Sullivan reported that three vendors were solicited and the selected software integrates with existing systems and received positive peer review.
