Cultural Council completes 451 Art Gallery project, advances community initiatives.
Cultural Council · Meeting of May 21, 2026
NORTH ATTLEBORO — The North Attleborough Cultural Council completed the 451 Art Gallery project and advanced multiple community initiatives at its May 21 meeting. Chair Ralph DiMarco and six members discussed the Painting North Attleborough Beautiful event scheduled for July 11 during the Food Truck Festival, with the town covering costs for the Dixie Diehards band performance. The Council will seek judges with arts backgrounds and discussed a new July 2 Community Band patriotic performance on the Town Green.
The Pride Festival is set for June 27 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with two volunteer shifts needed. After determining that sculpture installations would cost approximately $36,000 for a model and $12,000 per additional piece, the Council rejected the concept in favor of decorative garden posts at roughly $100 each, with potential community involvement in painting them.
