Council on Aging approves January minutes, accepts reports, confirms move to new building.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Council on Aging approves relocation to town-owned building, sets expanded operating hours. The board unanimously accepted its January and February monthly reports, confirming an April 6, 2026 move to 451 Elm Street with new hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

Chair Anne Lonzo announced the building's Grand Opening for April 17, 2026 at 10 a.m., with the council receiving thirty iPads through a state grant, a $750 Cultural Council Grant for an impressionist program, and the AARP Tax Assistance Program now available for free senior tax preparation. Remle Gordon, a volunteer SHINE counselor, will fill a board vacancy after being selected from three applicants and will be sworn in at the April Town Council meeting.
