Council approves four union contracts for fiscal year 2027
The Town Council voted to approve four union contracts totaling $377,080 in first-year costs for fiscal 2027, all unanimously.

NORTH ATTLEBORO — The Town Council voted to approve four union contracts totaling $377,080 in first-year costs for fiscal 2027, all unanimously. Measure 2027-003 authorized $70,316.48 for AFSCME; Measure 2027-004, $35,273.20 for Police Dispatchers; Measure 2027-005, $57,026.08 for Professional Police Officers; and Measure 2027-010, $214,464.62 for Firefighters. The council voted 6-1 to designate 10 multiple-member boards for stipend compensation and authorized the Town Manager to file for water infrastructure grants.
PFAS settlement funds totaling $1,896,000 were referred to Finance for review.
