Council approves $33,611 for Multi-Factor Authentication software

Town Council FY26 · Meeting of February 25, 2026

North Attleborough Town Council approves $33,611.88 for Multi-Factor Authentication software. The council voted unanimously to repurpose funds from the Town-Wide Technology Plan Account after the IT Department shifted from state and federal grant funding to municipal responsibility for the cybersecurity tool. Treasurer Chris Sweet reported that a $2 million PFAs settlement eliminated the need for a $500,000 borrowing authorization for Hillman Well design work, which the council rescinded unanimously.

A $21,500 transfer from the completed Martin ADA Playground capital project to Council on Aging operations was referred to the Finance Sub-Committee for review.
