Conservation Commission continues four NOIs, approves pond treatments

North Attleborough Conservation Commission continues environmental reviews on four significant development projects. The Commission on January 20 advanced a proposed all-electric high school building at 1 Wilson West Whitty Way to February 17 and three additional projects (residential dock at 74 Moran Street; North Attleborough Housing Authority Circle Court and Elm Street parking and site improvements) to February 3 pending geothermal wells, stormwater management details, and enhanced pretreatment specifications. Chair Kimberly Ciaramicoli emphasized Commission concerns regarding synthetic turf PFAS materials and historic drainage easements.
The Commission unanimously approved $7,082 from Water and Wetlands for Falls and Whiting's Pond treatment services and accepted a $9,400 peer review proposal from West & Sampson for the high school project.
