NORTH ATTLEBORO — Conservation Commission closed the public hearing for a South Washington Street wetland project with conditions for dewatering management and environmental oversight. The applicant agreed to use a frac tank for water storage if dewatering becomes necessary, test water before discharge, provide contact information for a Licensed Site Professional, and ensure an LSP or qualified representative is present during excavation for underground tanks. The Commission also determined a fire-damaged residence at 60 Wendy Drive does not qualify for Emergency Certification and directed applicants to submit a Notice of Intent.
The Commission approved minutes from June 2, 2026 and discussed a public education campaign on fertilizer restrictions.
