Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 28, 2026
NORTH ATTLEBORO — Conservation Commission approves pool project with strict wetland protections. Chair Kimberly Ciaramicoli's Commission issued an Order of Conditions for an in-ground swimming pool at 653 High Street, applicant Joseph Lurie, requiring a 25-foot no-disturb buffer, erosion controls, and field verification prior to construction. The vote was unanimous.
Seven special conditions prohibit pool water discharge to wetlands or storm drains, require native plantings, ban material stockpiling in the buffer zone, and mandate contained concrete washout outside all resource areas. The Commission also continued Notices of Intent at 159 Paul Lizotte Drive and 563 South Washington Street, and continued a Certificate of Compliance request at 20 Larsen Way to May 12, 2026.
